Christabel Kambala is an Associate Professor of Public and Environmental Health Sciences at the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS). She holds a PhD (University of Heidelberg, Germany), MPH (University of Glasgow, Scotland, UK), a BSc in Environmental Health (University of Malawi), and a Diploma in Public Health (University of Malawi).
As an academia her core duty is conducting research, lecturing, assessing, and supervising dissertations among postgraduate and undergraduate learners in Community Health, Behaviour Change Communication, Health Education and Promotion, Psychology and Sociology as well as Project Management. Aside from lecturing, Christabel Kambala has over 20 years’ experience working in diversified areas of Public and Environmental Health including reproductive health, maternal and child health, water, sanitation, and hygiene promotion. She has led and participated in a number of multidisciplinary research projects and has vast experience conducting mixed-methods and impact evaluation studies.
